Description
Interlocking Loop Wall Panel
Interlocking loop wall panel PAN 008 is one of the most intricate patterns in the collection — a continuous field of overlapping, ribbon-like loops that weave over and under one another across the entire sheet, closer to hand-tied knotwork than a simple repeating wave. Each loop is carved with a deep, rounded groove, so the raised ribbon catches light along its full length while the channel beneath it falls into shadow, giving the surface real depth even before a finish is applied.
A Knotwork Pattern, Not a Wave
Unlike the flowing wave and ribbon patterns elsewhere in this category, PAN 008’s loops don’t run in one consistent direction — they curl, cross, and double back, creating a busy, all-over texture with no obvious repeat line. That makes it a strong option when the goal is a wall that reads as sculptural and detailed from across a room, rather than a subtle background texture. Shown here in a glossy bronze metallic finish, the high shine on each raised loop plays against a flatter, darker background, sharpening the contrast between the pattern and the channels around it. The same carving would read very differently in a matte white or raw finish — softer, more shadow-driven, less jewelry-like.
Application Ideas for Interlocking Loop Wall Panel
The scale and density of the interlocking loop pattern suit:
- Statement feature walls in living rooms, lobbies, and reception areas
- Bar backs, fireplace surrounds, and other focal points meant to be viewed up close
- Hospitality and retail interiors looking for a metallic, jewelry-like accent panel
- Furniture fronts and headboards where a smaller panel still needs visual presence
Like the rest of the CNC panel line, PAN 008 joins on all four sides, so the loop pattern continues seamlessly from panel to panel across a larger installation, whether mounted vertically or horizontally.
Materials & Finish Options
PAN 008 is available in the standard core range — MDF, NAUF, Class A fire-rated, NAUF fire-rated, moisture-resistant, Forescolor, Celtec, and solid wood — at 0.75″ or 1″ thickness. Finish options include raw/unfinished for on-site painting, a white-primed finish, or a foiled finish across a range of monochromatic and wood-look colors in matte or gloss, including the bronze metallic shown here. Panels ship in 48″ x 96″ or 48″ x 120″ sheets, with custom sizing available on request.
Installation
Allow panels to acclimatize to the installation environment before mounting, and install using standard methods for MDF or engineered wood paneling. Because the loops interlock on all four edges, adjoining sheets line up automatically, keeping the knotwork pattern continuous across seams rather than restarting at each panel.
Sustainability & Compliance
Panels are manufactured to order at Corint’s Florida facility, with no-added-formaldehyde core options available that meet CARB Phase 2 formaldehyde emission standards for hospitality and commercial projects.
