Description
Rippled Wave Wall Panel PAN 089
Rippled wave wall panel PAN 089 takes the collection’s wave language and turns it sideways and fine-grained: instead of bold vertical curves, PAN 089 is carved with dense, horizontal ripples that run continuously across the full panel, closer in feel to sand dunes or wind-rippled water than to a typical carved wave. The result is a texture that reads as a single, cohesive surface from across a room, with detail that only becomes fully apparent up close.
A Horizontal Ripple, Not a Vertical Wave
Most of the wave patterns in this collection run vertically, with curves that stack side by side down the height of the panel. PAN 089 flips that orientation — its ripples run horizontally, in tight, even bands that repeat continuously across the width of the panel. That horizontal rhythm changes how the panel reads in a room: rather than drawing the eye up and down, it emphasizes the width of a wall, making it especially effective on wide feature walls like the large dining room installation shown here. Finished in brushed silver, the metallic sheen picks up ambient and overhead light along each ripple, giving the panel a soft, continuous shimmer rather than the deep shadow lines seen on bolder wave designs.
Application Ideas
The fine, horizontal texture of this rippled wave wall panel suits:
- Large-format dining room and restaurant feature walls, where width and finish are the focal point
- Hotel lobbies, ballrooms, and event spaces looking for an elegant, large-scale backdrop
- Executive offices and boardrooms wanting a refined, quietly textured wall
- Metallic and reflective finish applications where a subtle horizontal pattern enhances light play
Like every panel in the CNC line, PAN 089 joins seamlessly on all four sides, so the ripple pattern continues without a visible break across as many panels as a large installation requires.
Materials & Finish Options
PAN 089 is available in IDF, NAUF, Class A fire-rated, NAUF fire-rated, moisture-resistant, Forescolor, Celtec, and solid wood cores, at 0.75″ or 1″ thickness. Finish options include raw/unfinished for on-site painting, a white-primed finish, or a foiled finish across a range of monochromatic and wood-look colors in matte or gloss — including the brushed silver metallic shown here, which suits the fine ripple pattern especially well by catching light evenly along each horizontal band.
Installation
Allow panels to acclimatize to the installation environment before mounting, and install using standard methods for MDF or engineered wood paneling. Because the ripples interlock across all four edges, adjoining sheets align automatically, keeping the horizontal pattern continuous across seams — particularly important at the large scale shown in this installation, where a visible break would interrupt the width of the design.
Sustainability & Compliance
Every panel is manufactured to order at Corint’s Florida facility, with no-added-formaldehyde core options available that meet CARB Phase 2 formaldehyde emission standards for hospitality and commercial projects.
