Custom Decorative Screens and Room Dividers — CNC-Cut to Any Pattern

A well-placed screen changes how a space works and how it feels. It divides a room without closing it off. It adds privacy while still letting light through. It turns a blank wall or an awkward open plan into something intentional.

At Corint Industries, we manufacture custom decorative screens and room dividers from our CNC facility in Pinellas Park, Florida. Every screen is precision-cut to your pattern, dimensions, and material — whether you need a single freestanding divider for a living room or a full run of architectural screens for a hotel lobby.

Every screen is cut on our CNC routers at our Florida facility. Learn more about our CNC manufacturing capabilities — including materials, tolerances, and production capacity.

Unlike mass-produced catalog screens limited to a handful of stock patterns, our CNC process starts from your design. Send us a geometric pattern, an organic motif, a brand logo, or a reference image — we program the toolpath and cut it.

Screen Styles We Produce

Fretwork and Grille Screens Open-pattern screens with repeating geometric or organic cutouts. These are our most popular style — the cut-through design creates visual interest and allows light and air to pass through while establishing spatial boundaries. Ideal for room dividers, cabinet inserts, radiator covers, and architectural accents.

Privacy Screens Screens with tighter pattern spacing or partial solid areas that provide more visual separation while still allowing airflow. Used in bedrooms, bathrooms, medical offices, spa treatment areas, and anywhere a balance between openness and seclusion is needed.

Decorative Wall Screens Screens mounted flat against a wall as architectural features. Backlit wall screens create dramatic shadow effects in lobbies, reception areas, restaurants, and residential feature walls. The CNC-cut pattern becomes a design element that changes with the lighting.

Freestanding Room Dividers Screens fitted with base supports or hinged into multi-panel folding configurations. These dividers stand independently without wall mounting — practical for open-plan offices, event spaces, photography studios, and rental properties where permanent installation is not an option.

Ceiling-Hung Screens Suspended from ceiling tracks or fixed overhead mounts, these screens zone large open spaces without taking up floor area. Common in restaurants, coworking spaces, retail environments, and loft-style residences.

Exterior and Garden Screens CNC-cut from PVC, Celtec, or composite materials that resist moisture, UV, and temperature changes. Used as patio privacy screens, garden partitions, fence toppers, and decorative elements on covered outdoor structures.

Pattern Options

We produce screens in three categories of pattern:

Catalog Patterns Over 15 proven fretwork and grille designs available for immediate production. Geometric grids, interlocking circles, Moroccan-inspired lattices, organic leaf patterns, and abstract compositions — browse our screen collection to see current designs.

Modified Catalog Patterns Take any of our existing designs and adjust it — scale the pattern up or down, change the line weight, alter the spacing, or combine elements from multiple designs. This is a quick way to get a custom look without starting from zero.

Fully Custom Patterns Send us your own design file (DWG, DXF, AI, PDF) or a reference image, and we program a completely original pattern. Brand logos, architectural motifs, custom geometric compositions, or hand-drawn sketches — if it can be drawn as a 2D vector, we can cut it.

Decorative screens pair beautifully with our CNC-cut wall panels. Add custom fluted wall panels behind a screen for layered depth, or match patterns with our 3D textured wall panels for a cohesive room design.

For any custom pattern, we produce a sample section for your approval before committing to the full production run.

Materials

The right material depends on where the screen lives and what it needs to do:

MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) — Our most-used screen material. Machines with crisp, clean edges on even the finest fretwork details. Accepts paint beautifully for a seamless factory finish. Available in standard, moisture-resistant, NAUF, and Class A fire-rated grades.

Solid Wood — White oak, walnut, maple, and other species for natural wood-grain screens that are stained or clear-coated rather than painted. Solid wood screens suit high-end residential and hospitality interiors where the warmth and character of real wood is part of the design.

PVC / Celtec — Waterproof, lightweight, and paintable. The right choice for bathrooms, pool areas, outdoor covered spaces, and any installation exposed to moisture. PVC screens will not swell, warp, or degrade in humid conditions.

Bamboo Plywood — Sustainable, strong, and naturally moisture-resistant with a distinctive grain. A good middle ground between the cost efficiency of MDF and the character of solid wood.

Standard sheet size is up to 4 feet by 8 feet. For larger installations, we engineer panel-to-panel joints that align the pattern seamlessly across multiple sheets.

Applications

Residential Interiors Room dividers for open-plan living areas. Privacy screens for bedrooms and home offices. Decorative wall features above fireplaces or behind beds. Cabinet door inserts. Staircase and balcony balustrades. Radiator covers.

Restaurants and Hospitality Booth dividers, bar-area partitions, hostess station backdrops, and decorative ceiling screens that zone dining areas without blocking sightlines. Branded screens incorporating a restaurant logo or design theme.

Offices and Corporate Spaces Conference room partitions, reception area features, coworking zone dividers, and executive office privacy screens. Screens create spatial definition in open offices without the cost or permanence of built walls.

Retail and Commercial Window displays, in-store partitions, fitting room screens, product display backdrops, and branded architectural features. CNC-cut screens with a company logo or brand pattern make a visual impact that standard fixtures cannot.

Screens are one of the most versatile elements in commercial interior projects — used for space division in restaurants, visual privacy in offices, and decorative accents in hotel lobbies.

Events and Set Design Freestanding screens and backdrops for weddings, corporate events, trade shows, and film or photography sets. Lightweight PVC or MDF screens ship flat and assemble quickly on-site.

Healthcare and Wellness Privacy screens for treatment rooms, spas, and waiting areas. Fire-rated and NAUF MDF options meet building codes for medical and institutional environments.

Why Corint for Custom Screens

True custom — not just size options. We cut any pattern in any material to any dimension. You are not choosing from a fixed catalog and hoping something close to your vision is available.

CNC precision on fine detail. Fretwork patterns require consistent cut quality across hundreds of repetitions per sheet. CNC routing delivers that consistency — every line, curve, and cutout matches the programmed design exactly.

15+ fretwork designs ready to go. If you do not need a fully custom pattern, our catalog gives you proven designs that are ready for production with no programming lead time.

USA manufacturing, direct from our shop. No overseas production, no import delays, no communication through intermediaries. Your screens are made in Florida and ship directly to your site.

Material expertise. 20+ years of CNC cutting in MDF, wood, PVC, and composites means we know how each material behaves — what edge quality to expect, what minimum line widths are practical, and which substrate fits your application.

How to Order Custom Screens

1. Share your project details. Tell us the pattern (catalog, modified, or custom), material, dimensions, quantity, and how the screens will be installed (wall-mounted, freestanding, ceiling-hung). Photos of the space are helpful for recommending the right approach.

2. Receive your quote. We return quotes within 24 hours, including material specs, dimensions, and lead time.

3. Review your sample. For custom patterns or first-time orders, we cut a sample section so you can see the pattern, material, and edge quality in person before production.

4. Production and shipping. Screens are CNC-cut, inspected, and shipped flat via freight to your location. Standard lead time is 2 to 3 weeks from design approval.

We work with interior designers and architects to develop custom screen patterns — from initial concept sketches to CNC-ready production files.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the thinnest line or smallest detail you can cut in a screen? Minimum practical line width depends on the material and thickness. In standard 3/4-inch MDF, we can cut clean fretwork details down to approximately 1/4 inch (6 mm) line width. Thinner lines are possible in thinner material. We will advise during the quote process if your pattern pushes material limits.

Can I use an indoor screen outdoors? MDF and solid wood screens are intended for interior use only. For outdoor applications — patios, gardens, covered porches — choose PVC or Celtec, which are waterproof and UV-resistant. We will recommend the right material based on your installation environment.

How do freestanding screen dividers stay upright? Freestanding screens use weighted base supports, floor-mounted brackets, or hinged multi-panel configurations that create their own stability. We recommend the mounting method based on the screen size, weight, and how the space will be used.

Can screens be backlit? Yes. Wall-mounted fretwork screens are frequently installed with LED strip lighting behind them to create shadow patterns on the wall. The effect is especially dramatic with geometric and organic cut-through patterns. We can advise on appropriate standoff distance from the wall for the best lighting effect.

Do you offer finishing or painting? Screens ship unfinished by default — ready for your painter to match your color scheme. We also offer pre-primed MDF screens and can coordinate factory-applied paint finishes on request.

What is the maximum screen size? Single-sheet maximum is 4 feet by 8 feet. Larger installations use multiple panels with aligned pattern joints. There is no practical limit to the overall installation size — we have produced multi-panel screen walls spanning 20+ feet.
