Description
Ribbon wave wall panel PAN 005 turns a plain wall into a surface with quiet, continuous motion. Rather than one dominant wave line, the panel is carved with narrow, closely-spaced grooves that cross and interlace like ribbons caught in a current — a finer, busier pattern than the bold single-wave designs elsewhere in the collection. The result reads less like a carved groove and more like rippling water or woven fabric, especially when finished in white or a light primer.
A Finer, More Woven Wave Pattern
Where PAN 001 leans organic and bark-like, and PAN 002 and PAN 004 use wide, deep curves for dramatic shadow, PAN 005’s ribbon wave pattern is intentionally more delicate. The grooves are shallower and set closer together, so the light doesn’t pool in a few deep valleys — it skims across dozens of small ridges at once. Mounted under directional lighting, as shown in the installed example, this creates a soft shimmer across the whole panel instead of a handful of heavy shadow lines. It’s a pattern that reads as texture first and “wave” second, which makes it easier to live with at scale — across an entire media wall, for instance, without the design becoming visually loud.
Application Ideas
The scale and subtlety of the ribbon wave wall panel make it well suited to:
- Media walls and TV surrounds, where a busier pattern balances a large flat-screen without competing with it
- Hotel lobbies, restaurant feature walls, and reception desks
- Kitchen and bath backsplashes, cabinet fronts, and furniture panels
- Retail and showroom displays where a refined, tactile backdrop is needed
Like every panel in the wavy series, PAN 005 joins seamlessly on all four sides, so the ribbon pattern flows continuously from sheet to sheet whether the panel is installed vertically or horizontally, and across as many panels as a wall requires.
Materials & Finish Options
PAN 005 is available in the same core and finish options as the rest of the CNC wall panel line: MDF, NAUF, Class A fire-rated, NAUF fire-rated, moisture-resistant, Forescolor, Celtec, and solid wood cores, at 0.75″ or 1″ thickness. Finish choices include raw/unfinished panels for on-site painting, a white-primed finish ready to install, or a foiled finish in a range of monochromatic and wood-look options — matte or gloss. Panels ship in 48″ x 96″ or 48″ x 120″ sheets, with custom sizing available by request.
Installation
As with all Corint wall panels, PAN 005 should be allowed to acclimatize to the installation environment before mounting. The interlocking edge pattern means adjoining sheets align automatically, keeping the ribbon wave continuous across a full wall rather than restarting at every seam. Installation follows standard panel-mounting methods and can be handled by any contractor familiar with MDF or engineered wood paneling.
Sustainability & Compliance
Every panel is manufactured to order in Corint’s Florida facility, using engineered wood cores available in no-added-formaldehyde options that meet CARB Phase 2 formaldehyde emission standards — an important spec for hospitality and commercial projects with indoor air quality requirements.
