Description
Topographic Wave Wall Panel — PAN 034
Topographic wave wall panel PAN 034 is built from fine, closely packed horizontal lines that vary subtly in width and spacing as they run across the panel — some bands thin and tight, others widening slightly — giving the surface a quality closer to a topographic contour map than a mechanically even ripple. That variation is what sets it apart from the more uniform horizontal ripple patterns elsewhere in the collection: it reads as more organic and hand-drawn, even though every panel is cut with the same CNC precision as the rest of the line.
A Contour-Like Wave, Not a Repeating Ripple
Where a strict ripple pattern repeats identically band after band, PAN 034’s lines shift subtly in thickness and rhythm as they move across the panel, so the texture never feels mechanical. Shown here in a warm cream tone spanning a full TV and fireplace wall, that subtlety works in the panel’s favor at scale — across a large surface, the slight irregularity keeps the eye engaged without competing with the room’s other focal points, like the fireplace and mounted television in this installation.
Application Ideas
The scale and organic detail of this topographic wave wall panel suits:
- Large media walls and fireplace surrounds where the panel needs to support other focal points rather than overpower them
- Living rooms, family rooms, and open-plan spaces looking for warmth alongside texture
- Hospitality lobbies and lounges wanting a large-format wave pattern with a softer, less mechanical feel
- Any installation where a warm, neutral tone is part of the design brief
Like the rest of the CNC panel line, PAN 034 joins seamlessly on all four sides, so the contour pattern continues without a visible break across as many panels as a large wall requires.
Materials & Finish Options
PAN 034 is available in the standard core range — MDF, NAUF, Class A fire-rated, NAUF fire-rated, moisture-resistant, Forescolor, Celtec, and solid wood — at 0.75″ or 1″ thickness. Finish options include raw/unfinished for on-site painting, a white-primed finish, or a foiled finish across a range of monochromatic and wood-look colors in matte or gloss — the warm cream shown here is a good example of how the finer horizontal lines read in a softer, neutral palette.
Installation
Allow panels to acclimatize to the installation environment before mounting, and install using standard methods for MDF or engineered wood paneling. Because the horizontal lines interlock across all four edges, adjoining sheets align automatically, keeping the contour pattern continuous across seams — especially important at the large scale shown here, where a visible break would interrupt the flow of the design around the fireplace and TV.
Sustainability & Compliance
Every panel is manufactured to order at Corint’s Florida facility, with no-added-formaldehyde core options available that meet CARB Phase 2 formaldehyde emission standards for hospitality and commercial projects.
