Description
Diagonal Wave Wall Panel — PAN 019
Diagonal wave wall panel PAN 019 takes the collection’s ribbon-like wave grooves and sets them at an angle, rather than running them straight up or across the panel. The result is a pattern with a stronger, more directional sense of movement than a vertical or horizontal wave — the eye follows the diagonal lines across the wall in a way that feels more dynamic and less static, even though the underlying groove shape is closely related to the finer wave patterns elsewhere in the range.
A Wave Pattern With Direction
Because the grooves run on a consistent diagonal rather than symmetrically up and down, PAN 019 reads differently depending on which way the panel is installed — angled up to the left or up to the right changes the whole feel of the wall, which gives it more design flexibility than a pattern locked into one orientation. Shown here in white across a full fireplace surround, the diagonal lines pick up light unevenly as it moves across the day, creating a shifting highlight pattern that a straight wave doesn’t produce in the same way.
Application Ideas
The directional, dynamic character of this diagonal wave wall panel suits:
- Fireplace surrounds and large single-wall installations where the diagonal can run floor to ceiling uninterrupted
- Living rooms and lobbies looking for a wave pattern with more visual energy than a straight vertical version
- Feature walls where the mounting direction (up-left vs. up-right) can be chosen to suit the room’s layout
- Hospitality and retail spaces wanting a distinctive alternative to the more common straight wave designs
Like the rest of the CNC panel line, PAN 019 joins seamlessly on all four sides, so the diagonal pattern continues without a visible break across as many panels as the installation needs.
Materials & Finish Options
PAN 019 is available in the standard core range — MDF, NAUF, Class A fire-rated, NAUF fire-rated, moisture-resistant, Forescolor, Celtec, and solid wood — at 0.75″ or 1″ thickness. Finish options include raw/unfinished for on-site painting, a white-primed finish ready to install as shown, or a foiled finish across a range of monochromatic and wood-look colors in matte or gloss.
Installation
Allow panels to acclimatize to the installation environment before mounting, and install using standard methods for MDF or engineered wood paneling. Because the diagonal grooves interlock across all four edges, adjoining sheets align automatically — worth confirming the intended diagonal direction with your installer before mounting, since flipping a panel will reverse the angle of the pattern.
Sustainability & Compliance
Every panel is manufactured to order at Corint’s Florida facility, with no-added-formaldehyde core options available that meet CARB Phase 2 formaldehyde emission standards for hospitality and commercial projects.
